Rebuild or just swap it?

I think you should rebuild it. It's cheaper. You can even put in some better rods, pistons, cams, etc... to stroke it to a 2.2L. Also at that time you can upgrade the clutch and flywheel. Maybe even get a better 5mt or 6mt, at that time too.
If you consider the swap i would go all out and do a full sti swap. Engine,trans,drivetrain. You will have enough time to see if the sti motor will be a good performer or not too. For now just enjoy your new car. Keep up on the maitenance since your mileage is high.
