Hey I just picked up a 95 Impreza LX AWD 1.8L SOHC with a 5 speed and it seems to be going out. I have big plans for the car and plan to drop in a USDM Legacy GT or liberty GT Motor 2.5 DOHC turbo. but before I do Im going to need a new Transmission first! What I wanted to know if any of you knew if my stock tranansmission would bolt right up to that motor ? can you swap SOHC and DOHC heads with blocks? and if any of you knew of any one who makes stronger gears for 5 speed transmission? thanks
