Transmission rebuild shop suggestions?

the time has come to finally fix my busted 5 speed...who here has had their 5spd rebuilt? i have school during the week so time is an issue...im leaning towards LIC but thats in novato and kind of a far drive from santa cruz...

any other places that would be able to do this in a few days?

Here's what we can offer:

Prepay for for the parts.
We rebuild one of our core transmissions. All gears, sliders, synchros, bearings, seals/gaskets are replaced.
You bring in the car and drive away a few hours later.

When I get to the shop, ill PM you more details.

6spd swap is at least twice the cost, but obviously, you get a much better finished product.

definitely interested...i need a new clutch and etc as well

No offense but if he doesn't want to drive to novato, he probably doesn't want to go to sacramento???

yeah but being able to drive up and have my car only out for one day instead of a week may be worth it..
