Mods worth it?

Hi All,

I've been contemplating various upgrades, mostly catless uppipe and cat back exhaust, among other things. The question I have is are the mods worth the expense with getting any aftermarket ECU changes (Vishnu, Cobb, etc). Basically will I see any marked difference in performance with just the mods without ECU changes? Thanks

If you're going to go with a aftermarket exhaust system all the way through, I'd get some dyno time and get it tuned. I have a friend who is currently running a catless system with samco hoses and increased boost to 17psi, he backfires. If you're planning on going that route, get it dyno tuned to have it run safer, it will also give you a few more ponies.
