4EAT: VB & Torque Conv Mods worth it?

I just wanted to ask for those who have done the Valve Body and High Stall torque converter mods:

My setup:

2004 wrx 4EAT (approx 20k miles)
VF34 turbo back system; 17.5 PSI
Cobb AP v1 protuned

- What was the cost for both mods (including transmission cooler and temp gauge)?
- What type of improvement do you feel? (20%, 30% improvement?)
- Do you lose any of the comfort re: daily drivability?
- Is there a delay in changing from Drive to Reverse or visa versa? Any other issues?
- What shops do you recommend for the mods? (I’ve heard the names PROTORQUE and IPT but I’ve heard mixed reviews about IPT on the net).

I love my subie on the highway but flooring the gas from a stand still is really depressing. Especially when I’m trying to merge into a busy highway from a stand still. Any input is greatly appreciated (just wanted to find out if these 2 mods are really worth it).
