Major Engine Problem!!!
Well then maybe tree huggers should start attending every I-Club meet and keep a record of who has removed cats from their car and report them? I mean we all have a duty don't we? Better yet maybe they should report every shop who installs catless exhaust components because they are the enablers...

All I can say is that you pay to play. But in order to keep that cost low you should always get information from reliable sources. Such as go to multiple well known tuning shops and get information and compare and contrast between the information given. Then decide on what you want to do and what "should" work. Even at that it isn't 100% guaranteed that it will. But in the end if you don't want to take a risk of messing up your car you should simply leave it stock.
But then again maybe I'm just smoking crack and none of that made any sense.

wrxs2fast4u: SOA has figured out who you are. This is their money so you better beleive they are going to investigate this. Seattle is not a huge place and there are only a handful of dealers there. I would talk to a lawyer if I were you. You may be in for a hell of a ride. Hopefully justice will be served.

The dealerships are getting together on this...
they're not AT ALL HAPPY about it. Neither is SoA. They're right in the middle of it.
The initial place he went to turned him down. The second place initially said okay, but after seeing all the little telltale signs of modding in his car (and after reading this thread), turned him down. Then he went to a third place, after I already told him that I'd sent the info SoA and all the Seattle dealerships. They got WRXs2Fast4U to sign an affidavit saying that he hadn't modded his car (even though it was OBVIOUS that he had). That right there is an open and shut fraud conviction if they want to go after him. And since he's continuing to try to find a dealer to cover it, and attempting to defraud dealership after dealership, they're getting more and more likely to actually go after him.
Dude, stop tryign to rip these place off. They know abuot you and each additional place you try this on is making it more likely that you're going to end up in jail over it!

hey
shutting this thread down. although it is a somwhat friendly **** match, it is still a **** match.
final word...
it looks like SOA was going to shut this guy down anyway, regardless of what happen here. i am not about ratting someone out, but in this case he got what he deserved. i have mixed feelings about this whole thing, but in the end, what does it matter? the end result was inevitable. you guys can argue your sides until you are blue, and neither opinion will change. so why bother.
lets get back to what this forum is really about, properly making modifications and answering questions about a factory turbo'ed car.
thanks
