Intake inlet pipe tear(please help)
Aloha,
I have a tear on my turbo inlet pipe. The tear is locacated where the rubber part meets the turbo. I know that I am loosing boost becase of the tear, but will the leak damage my turbo.
Also, I have the Vishnu Garrett hybrid turbo; when I turn off the engine, I can hear a boiling noise coming from the area of my turbo. I think it may be the coolant. Is this normal?

Your best bet, is to get a Samco replacement inlet hose.
The material is much stiffer than the OEM inlet hose. I wouldn't bother taking the time to pull out the inlet hose and wrapping it with duct tape. Unless it's your daily driver, just order the Samco hose.
