Who wants to help me tear apart the shortblock?

Hey all.

Thanks to a fellow member, I now have a shortblock from a WRX. Apparently, it has a bent connecting rod, but yeah...

Just wondering if anyone wants to help me rip it apart. I figure what we could do is do it over a few days while also making a how-to for it. Something to contribute to the new how-to section.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

TIA.

Uh... I think I have been lagging this month. Last month... I got in 23 or 24.

Not sure when. Probably after finals. We'll just tear the sucka apart and yeah.

Anyone else that wants to help. We'll need a good photographer who can take pics.

I think you should just tear it apart yourself, you will learn a lot more about it that way. If its already damaged then you have nothing to lose.

I wouldnt mind helping ya after finals. I got a bad shortblock myself and I want to learn how to tear it apart. Attempt #1 failed so far last winter I feel like I need to take a class or something heh. Lmk so we can set a "de-install" day!

I'd help you out but trial by fire is a much better way to learn. Actually, no it isn't.

If you want some help sometime let me know.

Haha... cool cool.

I get what you are saying. I was really wondering if someone would like to "document" me screwing up. Haha.

Anyone happen to have a service CD?
