I currentley have an 04 wrx, i have done queit a few things but i am wondering if i should upgrade my turbo inlet pipe and intake? My buddy told me i should not but i was hoping for some help.

Helix TMIC
Helix Up pipe/downpipe/catback
APS SR30 turbo
STI Injectors
Fuel Pump
HKS EVC GEN 5

So would i benifit in upgrading the turbo inlet and intake or would it be a waste of time. Any help or comments on what to do would help out alot im still new to the WRX i just got it a month ago.

 

upgrading it won't hurt but i don't believe that there much gain from it, and if you do upgrade your intake i would go for the spt or cobb one.

 

Since someone else modded the car before you got it, I would bring it to a reputable Subaru tuning shop and have them run some dyno pulls while monitoring things like ignition advance, turbo boost, and air/fuel ratio.

The engine will only make best power and live to tell about it if the tuning is correct for those mods.
