Farewell my friends... (tear)

Well its been a long time hasnt it... four long years with my beloved Subaru. Four solid years of not worrying about going into a corner a bit too fast... not worrying about if I could beat some kid in a straight line either... no worrying about the 400 rattles within the cabin (they all kinda cancel each other out dont they)... well, it is time to say goodbye.

Id like to thanks everyone hear for making my Subaru time that much more worthwhile and always free from stress. Hotrod being one of the people that I've most admired, and loved to find a time where I could actually help him .

My Subi friends, Im sorry to go. I wish I could stay, but having my car totalled by a minivan who didnt want to stop for that red light, and a dealer who is unwavering on selling me a WRX for less than $28k OTD anywhere locally... I wish you all the best of luck.

Have you checked Autowest in Roseville? They usually have decent pricing. Or Santa Cruz?

Umm, I thought you knew to stay the he** away from Stevens Crook...err...Creek.

There ARE Bay Area dealers up here willing to give you a good deal...you just may have to drive to get your best deal.

Those I assume are Santa Cruz and Carlsen... both are unwavering on the price (this is what shocked the hell out of me). Im not badmouthing the Service department at SC, but nobody is willing to talk anymore

Solution

So why not build yourself a wrx for less money...

1. Buy GC shell

2. Buy jdm engine and ecu

3. Get wires

4. Customize the rest to make ultimate car

5. Spend less then you did on your original car, have more power, and more custom components.

6. Be happy, stay subaru.
