help: intercooloer hose keeps coming off

I was driving on the freeway the other night when my car bogged down heavily, so i pulled over and took a look at my intercooloer because i wasn't getting any boost. The front pipe on the intercooler popped off and keeps on popping off cause my car to run funny when i hit boost. I removed my BOV and i think that it is not sitting right in my engine bay. It tilts a little to the right. I don't know how to support it on the right bracket. It has a bolt going through the bracket then it goes throught some bushings, but when i put my intercooloer back together i must have forgot to put some hardware back on. What does the bolt thread into? I need to bring my intercooler back up to prevent it from moving around in my engine bay. What pieces am I going to have to buy to get it fixed right?

Are you sure you attatched the ic hose in the front with the "thin metal clamp" tightly? When I removed my ic for uppipe and turboback install I didn't attach these clamps firmly enough and I lost boost too (the car would reach a certain boost level and would not go any higher especially under wot.) Once I refitted them and tigntened the brackets I had no problems. Make sure all the hoses that you had to remove from the ic are connected back properly and the bov is seated correctly so it seals. Don't tighten the bolts all the way before the bov is seated properly and you have both bolts through and connected. Good luck, and I hope this solves the problem.

okay i fixed the problem. The problem was I was putting the spacer bushing on the drivers sides intercooler mount below the bracket that connects to the intake manifold. I just put the spacer bushing above the the bracket and tightened it up. Now my intercooler sit horizontally perfectly.
