!Help! my car keeps cutting out on me PLEASE HELP
Ok, this week end I put a turbo xs front mount intercooler on my car, everything seemed to be fine. Here's my problem I was driving home from work and was geeting ready to get into it and it stopped working. When I tryed to restart it was idling retarded and then stalling out. My car by the way is stage 4. here are my mods: Utec(custom tuned before the frount mount), walbro fuel pump, sti injectors, perrin fuel rails, koyo radiator, crucial thermostat, vf34, hks carbon ti, invida catless, and uppipe.
I was having zero problems before front mount install. the install requires that use have a intake and I using an aem short ram for that. also, when I first started the car after the install it was idleing funny I reread the instructions and fount that the bov(TXS racing valve, my hks SSBOV won't fit) had to have 6 washers added inside of it to vent to the atmosphere so I did that and everything seemed fine, idle went back to normal.
I did the following to get it to stat again: At fist I thought that it might be a boost leak so I started lookin by where i tap in to get my boost guage and nothing. I next removed the bov from venting to the atmosphere(thinking this might be doing sometihing)and set it to vent back into the intake track like stock. Finally, I unhooked the battery to reset the computer(I believe that this did the trick) I started the car and it seemed to be idling fine, I was reading 20 vac on my boost guage and was moving forward again. Just to see what would happen I crept my RPM's close to 3000(where I start to go into boost) and idle get supid again and RPM's dip and it cut out.
I need some help here I not sure what I am over looking as a problem Any help would be great

did you touch the vacuum line going to your fuel pressure regulater? i'm not too sure but doesn't the perrin kit relocate the fpr over to the LHS of the engine where the new FMIC pipe sits. make sure that the vacuum hose isn't pinched there.
check all your hose clamps again and try adjusting the washers in the BOV. if you have it routed back to the intake then you can reduce it to 2-4 washers and see how that works. also when you have the bov open, check that the piston moves freely, a little grease might help too. make sure the vacuum line going to the bov is good. other than that, i dunno what the problem would be. good luck.

thanks I will take a look at that hose coming off of the fuel presure regulator if I have a leak in the intercooler piping you think that will make it run super crappy?
vac leak messing with things the turbo xs intercooler fits good. it was tight is a few spots beacuse I have other parts that they don't account for, such as the koyo radiator
