i read the OEM subaru instructions and some threads on scoobymods so i have the basics down, just not sure where to find some things.

1) there are two rubber stoppers behind the intercooler, which one do i use to put the rubber hose through? the one with an impressed groove (smaller) or flat one (larger)? where does it come out in the compartment? i can't see any holes by the gas pedal.

2) where can i tap 'dimmed' power, possible from the gauge cluster? i will take apart the center console to get the one above the stereo if that is the only one available but would rather not do all that work. for that connector, what size spade connectors can i use or should i just strip the wires?
