If you really want to do it right, you want to find an intercooler that will work "best" with your current turbo. Putting TOO big of an intercooler will end up hurting your performance on a stock turbo. For running the stock turbo, maybe like a greddy front mount would work since it's not really big in size. Basically, the more you boost, the bigger you go. The less boost you have, the small you want. And that's for boost effeciency reasons.

Hope that helps!

speedfreak is exactly right on that point of to big isn't good for the performance factor...

However to answer your questions regarding FMIC that can keep your foglights... you have 3 options I believe (i could be wrong so correct me if I am)

1. MRT
2. TurboXS (bumper beam included)
3. APS FMIC's (bumper beam included)

Also with keeping your fog lights please know that the fitment of your FMIC will be VERY TIGHT and doesn't really leave room for error when installing them. Also you'll have to follow ALL of the directions

You may want tot talk to oldmansan. I don't know if he got the bigger turbo yet or not, but I do know that he was running a stock turbo with a good-sized FMIC. He had great things to say about his setup and I know that he was KILLER out at the track day. He lives down at Hickam and is more than willing to help you out.

Good luck.

oldmansan has the DR500 IIRC. He's got the vf34 now too, & was really pleased with the setup a couple months back.

Edit: whoops...did a search for FMIC & didn't look at the date on this thread!!!
