It seems as if i have a coolant leak near the throttle body because there is dried coolant around the throttle body and some on the bov. Any ideas where it could be coming from? I will post a pic later when i have a chance.

 

Well since you say it's by the TB check the coolant hose that goes into the TB.

 

Will check, but it seemed fine from looking at it from the top.

 

ed, i had a coolant leak somewhere on my truck and couldnt find the hole. i just had someone rev the motor and little squirts of coolant was coming out of one of my hoses. the hose may look fine but it leaks under pressure.

 

ok, i found the problem. there was a small pin sized hole on the coolant line that hooks up to the throttle body. thanks for all the help.
