CEL concerning CATS

I was wondering if one were to leave the down pipe cat in and remove cat #1 and #3, would the CEL light still be on? And YES I have spent the last week using the search button. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is no 100% answer unless you try it.

I just removed the up-pipe cat and the dp cat and replaced it with the COBB dp w/ cat and haven't got a CEL yet (still waiting to be tuned).
