Sorry man, Link decids all the pricing, if you want to get a bunch of poeple together to get something back from them, it might be worth a shot.
Try contacting Link and see if they will do an even trade your WRXLink for the new one. At least you won't have the fuel problem then.

I never had a fuel problem persay. I just wanted something that was better suited for a daily driver. A piggy back system again would fit nicely...
But a fully 'fixed' unit from LINK does sound promising... I dont know if I would have ever had a problem and you yourself said you never experienced what others did Bill. I dont know.. I just dont want to get stuck in the inital phase tuning and not be able to get the car started or have some random stalling when 'm with the other half... It's leaves a bit of a bad impression if yo uknow what i mean?

teiva-boy,
I do understand what you mean and Link knows they messed up and are trying to fix the bad impression they left. Though that is a very tough thing to do in the Subaru world. We will see...
Well I finally did notice the problem in 2 cars and was not able to fix it. Of which I was able to fix the problem in one car and nt the other. Found that when the Map is setup optimally or a little bit beyond is where the problem would occur. Though if I make it a little safer the fuel problem never happened. This is probably because the fuel pump was not getting overworked.
In any case I will be trying out the new unit in a WRX with a Walbro fuel pump and a million other mods to see if it does really work and if thier are any other problems. But so far things sound good.
NOTE on LINK PLUS: The Link Plus is NOT dropping in price, this unit has far more features then the WRXLink and is already getting pretty cheap for what it can do versus the WRXLink
