I don't get this mod at all. It seems that the intercooler needs to get cooler outside air to flow through the core to drop the charge temperature. Subaru put it there for a reason. I understand that the larger intercooler creates interference, but it seems like a new seal should be designed to mate up to it.

I dont understand either. I always thought air takes the path of least resistance. Which in this case would go around the IC not through it as effectively as with a shroud.
