Should i get COBB AP next?

i drive '03 Subaru WRX with minor mods. the list is HKS up pipe, HKS down pipe, HKS Carbon Ti exhaust, Injen Short Ram intake, underdrive pulley. my question is Should i get COBB AP or bigger turbo and FMIC or STI top mount intercooler as my next modification to the car? and i understand if i get bigger turbo and intercooler i need to upgrade fuel pump and injectors. any input would be much appreciated. thx in advance

The tune/engine management should be your very first power mod. Get it as soon as possible to have your car running at its best and get the full potential from your mods.

Get rid of that crappy HKS DP.

You can run that setup for now and save up for the entire package turbo, injectors, fuel pump, and any EM.

Whatever your pockets will allow you to do.

Pics of your car haven't seen you around San Jose. Did you just recently get your car?

HKS uses the stock design and covers up the wastegate side. So its basically a uncatted stock DP.

HKS is a 'blank plate' design I believe. Try to upgrade to an Invidia v3(divorced wg).

Do this of course after you get a form of EM going. You should have done engine management as one of your very first mods.

Definently good advice....ditch the HKS DP as it's nothing more than a stock dp thats been decatted. Also the AP would be a good idea to invest in if you choose to get more power down the road. Thankfully you have an 03 so they're more forgiving when it comes to running completely catless without EM (not to say you can get away with it, but will be alright as long as you don't thrash it.)

if you are the kind of guy that wants more and more power it might be better to just buy a bigger turbo with supporting mods

the avo dp one is pretty good, comes with the cat, and is a large bell mouth, with the wastegate divider in the bell mouth.
