I have got an 02 WRX and have gotten bitten by the bug...I have a perrin uppipe, HKS downpipe, Bosal 3 inch catback, Forge BOV, Samco Hoses and am wondering which direction to go now. I was going to do an ECU reflash this weekend at grd performance in Naperville, Il, but they couldn't fit me in today, so I figured it best to wait and do as much as I could before the reflash. I was wondering about top mount intercoolers. Am I really going to get a hp gain from an APS or TurboXS topmount. I know that I can get a bigger front mount, but I don't want to hack up my front bumper, plus I love the way the fog lights look, so ditching them is out. I was also wondering if STI injectors will work without any kind of tuning...I realize that I would have to do the injectors with a new fuel pump. I want to eventually swap turbos out, but want to build up to that point and make sure I have everything handled. Another stupid question...what kind of mods can I do on the factory ECU...I mean, can I bolt on a bigger turbo with injectors and still run the factory base maps? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have had the car about a month and already have the urge for more power.
