Port the exhaust side of the stock vf39 turbo to prevent boost creep that might cause detonations. Also boost gauge and other support mod to monitor boost level.

Would you recomend a boost control so I can crank it up to 18 or 19 PSI or is that to much for my stock turbo?
I recommend true engine management from a reputable tuner. This way, an increase in boost will be accompanied by correct fueling and ignition advance. See Engine Management forum, as well as STi Powerplant forum.

Adding parts like BOVs and CAIs are pretty much eye candy on a mildly modded, street-driven STi. The factory parts do the job.

Try the new COBB Tuning AccessPORT. Works like a charm from what I have heard. Get rid of the Cold Air Intake and cash it for AccessPORT savings fund.

UTEC from turbo XS. Make shure you get the STi version. The wastegate mod on the turbo is a good idea too. It is better safe than sorry. If it is an 04, possibly a radio.

Dont need a turbo timer on a car that has coolant running through the turbo.
