Mine did the exact same thing to me during a spirited drive a few weeks back. It feels like fuel starvation to me.

Yeah I thought fuel starvation also. However, it doesn't happen to me until the car is hot. Fuel starvation would happen hot or cold I think.
What about the fuel rail, I've seen upgrades for sale, is the WRX fuel rail system weak ? Has anyone done this upgrade ?
How about something to increase the fuel pressure, is there such a thing and where would I get one ?

the only g force sensor the rex has is in the ABS circuit.

why don't you pull the main abs fuse (20a) and give it another shot?

just don't stomp on the brakes and flat spot the tires!

I'll give that a try, hell I'll try anything. I'm also thinking of hooking up a fuel pressure gage to see if the pressure drops when the power fails.
I can't beleive no one else has had this problem or heard of it.
