Just did intake silencer removal and need help
I just did an intake silencer removal and after that my car started to have this funny smell. Can anyone tell me what it could be? I haven't plugged the holes yet either so can you guys give me some ideas on how to do that? Thanks you.

I get a funny smell as well, and I have also done the silencer mod. I'm not positive what it is, but I have a few theories.
First, I only smell it after driving hard. So I think that either I'm pushing the turbo too hard; wearing the clutch excessively; or it's the smell from the brakes after braking hard, being sucked in.

Process of elimination.
1) What did you change? You now have a hole in your right wheel well, that used to be blocked.
2) What could be coming through that hole that you would smell after hard driving?
Wait for it....
Brakes would be my deduction. It's elementary, Watson.
