Anyone with vishnu tunning?
I just wanted to know if anyone has any of the vishnu stage kits hooked uo to their car? If so what are your pros and cons about it ? Also is there any other company that you guys would suggest is better or comparable.

Just installed Vishnu Stage one with signature exhaust. It is a huge improvement over stock. Approximately 300 flywheel hp.
The car runs smoother from the start. Turbo spools quicker with significantly less lag. I hear complaints only about the cost of re-flash. However, Shiv (the owner) really knows what he is doing. THe exhaust fits so cleanly and sounds great. I have the California flash for 91 octane. In other states where 93 and higher is available the hp is up by about 10.
I definately recommend Vishnu. I'm hoping to get down to their shop next month for a dyno tune. Next summer stage 2.

That sounds cool, I think I might just go with Vishnu tunning. I read alot about his tunning process and from what I see I like it. The only problem for me is that I live in NY and there is no way in hell im going out to Cali any time soon. But ill figure something out
thanks for the response.

Tunning
Must be a back east thing, that spelling. I'm originally from Massachusetts. Isn't there spell check on this thing.
I think tunning is a scottish sport involving haggis.
That aside, I know Shiv does occasionally do dyno tours back east.

Nope - tragically no spell check!
I would advise that you also check out the off-the-shelf relashes from Cobb Tuning. They are cheaper than Ecutek and are very highly rated. I should know - I have their Stage 2!!!
Cheers.

Cobb
I actually checked them out as well. I chose Vishnu because they are so close to where I live. Access to their Dyno really makes it worth it. I'm planning on a trip down to their shop sometime in August.
Cobb does have a great reputation as I have read.
Vishnu is coming out with a stage 3 that is supposed to be insane as in 376 whp. I don't know the cost, but they are taking pre-orders now.
It's amazing how many options you have with this car and how easy it is to modify for little cash outlay.
I also have a 1991 carrera 4 cab. Very fun car, but no matter what I do to it, it seems to cost at least $3,000. My wrx can't out handle it yet, but it will out accelerate the carrera. My carrera has an upgraded chip, rsr suspension, sport cat, bypass pipe and 4" tip. It currently produces about 290 hp. To do those mods, it cost me almost $10,000. For half that cash, my subaru will be faster and outhandle the porsche.
Anyone looking for a 91 porsche C4?
