Trans. Question...

Hey everyone, I don't know if it's my tranny(I hope not), but when I'm at low rpms I hear a clacking sound(clack, clack, clack, clack). When I press the clutch, it stops. I just want to know if it's my tranny, or what other options it could it be. Thanks

It's hard to say without seeing the car but I had the what might have been the same problem and it ended up being a broken exhaust bracket. My TBE didn't have a flex section and the stress snapped the bracket that connects to the exhaust hanger at the DP. Hopefully you luck out like I did.

Good luck
Joe

I found out what the clicking was. My engine oil was low. I mean really low. Good thing I found it when I did. My engine would have surely blown. Thanks for your input though.
