so its only been 20k miles since i've used this new clutch.
i haven't launched or abused the clutch, only b/c i wanted to wait till i changed my timing belt.
Now the clutch is slipping badd. it can grab, but enought for it to drive.
im driving an 04 sti. no mods except for the clutch.
Anyways, i take it to the mechanic who installed it. (L&T Japanese Automotive)
And he tells me that its worn out. im like WTF? the clutch hasn't been abused at all.
He says that racing clutches wear out faster.
how the hell could this be possible if my clutch hasn't been driven hard.
any suggestions? ideas? anything? holla.

 

your lucky you got 20K out of a hyper single. The most i have heard of was 10K. get an organic.

 

dont feel too bad, mine only lasted 10k, and the replacement lasted 400 miles... no launching.
