Shifter Question- Please Help!!!

First off, what mods do you have? It should feel more loose the more you drive the car, but after 1000 miles, this sounds a little strange... The stock shifter has kind of a mushy feel to it. You may want to bring your scooby in to the dealer just to make sure, though.

A lot of people like short shifters and the stiffer shifter bushings to kind of firm up the feel of the shifter. Do a search for short shifter and you should have a better idea...
