Unhappy Looser shifter.

I just finished installing my STi shortshifter, kartboy rear bushing, and Cusco shifter bushings. But, there is extreme gap in shifting and I can move the shifter left and right maybe half an inch while in any gear. I've checked all the bolts and they're all tight. Am I missing something? PLEASE HELP!

Make sure you're reaching for the right shifter Sorry Eddie, I can't help you on this one because I've never installed a shift kit on these cars, but I couldn't help but post that. Good luck!

Someone on nasioc said that this was normal... does anyone know if it is? That and I just saw that the box for the bushings says GC8. Did rally sport direct send me the wrong ones?

Just finished reinstalling the whole setup and it's working great now.
