RS tranny upgrade?
I have a 99 Impreza RS with an AVO turbo kit along with many other upgrades. I'm looking to upgrade the tranny, for a couple of reasons...
1. Stronger gearset to hold more power
2. Seems like I need a better gear ratio also, because my highway gears don't favor me.
I'd like to keep it a synchro transmission, and if the gear ratio's change do I need to change the gears in the rear diff?
Also is there a 6 speed transmission available for my car? Thanks for the help in advance.
