if you are concerned with noise, why consider a dogbox? there will be some added noise, but who is to tell what you can stand or enjoy versus everyone else. from what i have heard when running a dogbox (or any transmission w/straigt cut gears) will be louder mostly being compared to a reverse gear sound. some people like it though. here is a thread off mrt board talking about them....enjoy

its not that bad. its loud. but barable third gear is the worst by far
