I'm planning on buying a Wrx in the future. the sti is way to expensive for me.. And i'm starting to worry about the future problems i might be getting. What is the best solution to fixing a busted tranny and clutch? Is aftermarket mods the best solution or to upgrade to sti parts.?

 

A better set of gears like the Chalak gears with synchros might be an option then or just get ahold of the parts to convert to a STI 6spd. With the STI coming out it should become alot easier to buy a 6spd transmission rather then spending the time finding everything required from an importer.

 

So how many people plan on converting tranny/clutch their wrx to a sti?? and soo is it hard to convert/expensive?

 

Personally I'm not planning on it cause the A/T in my RS-T works just fine. There are a few people who have already done it. Alex/Imprezer was working on it as well.
