Is this the Exedy Stage 2 clutch? Don't try to use a race-type clutch on the street without checking for streetability. Race cars don't have to contend with traffic signals and stop-and-go traffic.

From Daikin Clutch USA's site, referring to the Exedy Stage 2:

"With any cerametallic clutch system, there will be some compromise of start up driveability as compared to a stock clutch (chatter on light throttle, low rpm start up). This characteristic is generally felt to be acceptable in modified performance cars. Drivers of cerametallic clutches on the street should be warned not to "ride the clutch" to try to reduce the chatter as this will greatly increase the wear."

This friction material may work out okay if you are using an Exedy two or three disk multi-plate clutch, as the engagement is much smoother and can be modulated for street use. The Exedy Hyper Single has also been used with success on the street. You didn't state the mods to your car - how much holding power (torque capacity) do you need?

Can't offer any help with your clutch fork problems. Shouldn't 'slip out' if correctly installed and the other parts are the right ones for the application.
