Question advice on achiving a smooth launch 5MT

I am curious as to what tecnique seems to work the best (if any)
for a smooth, launch when at the drag strip with a 02 5MT.

Also if anyone has advice on when to shift (RPM) at each gear when at the track for good Quater-mile Times.

Thanks in advance for responding.

Slip, slip, slip! Don't dump the clutch. If you thought you bogged in FWD, its worse with AWD. Its also healthier for your transmission.

As for shifting, shift as late as you can w/o hitting the rev limiter.

Haha bah! Yeah if you have like 400+ HP at the wheel with a 5MT maybe

Just learn to be patient and feel the clutch.
