Non-Suby tech (EM) question

I honestly looked at each forum and this seemed the most appropriate. I have also done a cursory search but have come up with nada.

Is anyone familiar with the Greddy e-manage. Further, we need some help with what a baseline map would look like for an RB25 powered 240sx.

Background: I am very familiar with the UTEC. I've spent countless hours at my little secret tuning strip (although I still consider myself a tuning novice).

Anyhow, my friend has a very impressive car, a 240sx with an RB25 dropped in (I don't know which S series it would correspond to, the only automotive knowledge I have is the WRX). He has asked for my help.

He recently bought a GT turbo, I think a 28 or 30, and has installed the Greddy e-manage. Problem is that while he understands the generic concepts, he has never tuned a car. He has a techedge v1.5 but I believe that the emanage doesn't have the ability to log input from the WB.

Problem is, we don't have a baseline (base map) and starting out without some idea of what 'right' should look like will be a bear.

It's MAF based (2d: MAF voltage to RPM), although that method can be substituted with...I don't recall. Whatever it is, he doesn't have. Also, although I know that it has command over timing, I didn't see the structure of the timing map, ie how the UTEC timing map is RPM to load.

Thanks for reading this, any response is appreciated.

Have you tried getting some support from GReddy directly? I'd try to help, but you know more about the e-manage than I do as you've actually seen and touched one now.

No, I guess I've left that up to him. I told him I'd look online for someone (in an English speaking country) who'd be willing to share a map.

I'm not too worried about the actual tuning, it's just the baseline to work off of.

Also, I figured there were some really smart dudes here on the i-club so it wouldn't hurt to ask.
