oh yeah and stay away from crack, ok.
actually the ATTESA is the skylines electronically controlled awd system, Hicas 4 wheel steering, etc......I believe the tranny is Gettrag

Ahhhh, but it's not that expensive to get a R32 my friend, $30k for a '94 with about 30k mi, sure it's not the pantydropper that a R34 is but still has the same motor and almost the same capabilities.

is it a part? or do you just weld the case or something? my friends did this conversion, however, they ended up breaking the rear axles. i don't think, well, given that the WRX was suited for AWD, i don't think the rear axles were made to handle such abuse. unless the subframe was beefed up, i don't think it could handle the power.

i wonder if you took it to a transmission shop and have some 240sx rear axles/hubs customized to fit a suby. hmmmmm........imagine that, a subaru with wider rear tires!!!

Is it possible to have an admin make the phrase "say no to drugs" be censored like swear words?

The Skyline never raced in WRC...because it's not a rally car, it's a road car. Thanks for the fun debate everyone!

For the price of a "$30k" R33, you could buy a similar mileage used C5 Corvette. Add the $20k MTI Z07 package and you have a 600rwhp, 7.0 liter all motor sports car. Streetable? Supposedly. Low-end torque, 25mpg freeway? Yes. Having a 2 year, 24k warranty from MTI? Priceless.

I see this as a much better choice for all out 'tuners' than a skyline in any form. add turbocharging and you have a totally crazy 800hp tire abuser. supposedly streetable.

what was i talking about?

Well didn't somebody post somewhere that they found an R32 for like $5k when they went to Rally Japan? Sneak that in here. hahaha.

By the way, I saw what appeared to be a legit RHD Type-R Civic at the Pep-boys parking lot in hayward.
