Huh? The 4th amendment (protection from illegal search and seizure) only applies to the government, and only if they do it without your permission....

And, of course, they can incorporate your consent as a requirement for the driver's license as they already do for BAC testing.

No, if they could do that they would've already, and they wouldn't need probable cause to search your car. As far as mcowger's post . . . we're talking about the government, and consent is debatable.
