If you do a lot of city/highway driving and plan on using your car as a daily driver with track days every now and then, STi for sure. If you plan to track the car hardcore and plan on being real good at it, EVO.

He pretty much said what I was going to. Also almost 20 psi of boost stock scares me.

I have driven both and I would have to pick an STI I love the changeable drivetrain the 20/80 is sweet for summer and then just switch to 50/50 for winter plus it beats it on quarter mile unless you want to pay the extra 3-4'000 for the evo MR

I own an 03 rex. But have friends that own both an evo and sti. Suspension wise the evo is the way to go, but if you want power and tha ability to adjust the torque biase then pick the sti

I'll go for an STi! Although, EVO8 is also a good performance car overall.

The only thing I didn't like was the interior... only if it did had a better interior, I might've considered it.

But, it boils down to what you like. Both STi and EVO8 are exactly the same, and yet so different. All you have to do is choose between the 2. What you may find from the other can be found on the other. Better yet, see who can offer you the best deal... I think that's a fair conclusion. Good luck!

It's not 20/80 it's only 35/65.

STI, it looks better although the evo rs is cheaper and is capable of not being a cop magnet

Evo quality

Mitsubishi does not make a very high quality product, a bit like Italians, they get the design right, but fall down on production quality. I havn't followed up on Evos(cause I love my Rex), but I would expect that if you drive it hard, it will start to break down a lot sooner then a Subi.

both cars are cop magnets for one... 2nd... theres no real reason to pic one over the other... its really on what u want...

For me.. if i was to pick one of the 2 i'll get a evolution just becasue i would only buy one of them cars for pure happyness and the evo is the funner car to have. yes sti has 300 hp but it does not have the razor sharp handles like the evo. yes the sti has a better inside, but i don't really care about that cuz the evo has better seats and yeah... blah blah blah the list goes on...

I was about to get an evo but i started to think... i'm 20 and just need a daily driver. so i picked a reg. wrx. why u might as? becuase its cheaper for one and the closest to an evolution i can get for the money. if there was a cheaper evolution that was the same price as the wrx... i would get it.... maybe, if it was close enought to the reg evo handling/power wise.

BUT guys get get me wrong i'm happy with my wrx

but yeah.... scooby! GOOD LUCK PICKING!!! i'm sure u'll be happy with either one
