No, I didn't double park... No, I didn't flip anyone off. I simply parked... and went into the market.

When I came out, someone had taken a key and did about 6 star patterns (one over the other) on the driver's door and about three ovals on the back door (driver's side).

This 6 days before Subiefest! I have had a personal list of things I wanted to do before I left (then call it quits with a 'winter's hiatus' to mods).

I was sooo close... it was looking so good.

It looks like the key scratches ripped through the clear coat (but, my dealer's detailer ~ who rocks at 'color sanding' is going to come in on his Sunday to see if he can pull it off). If not, I have to try and get a body shop on Monday to paint the two doors before Thursday ~ yeah right... wish me luck!

If you see a key scratcher ~ you have my permission to use a LARGE caliber handgun and put him in a shallow grave your dog can p**s on!

Rant ~ over.
Welcome to the club. Back in April I got keyed. I came home from vacation and found my car like that. $1450 to get the entire side of my car painted and some dents removed from my hood.

i once caught a group of kids on bicycles keying cars parked on the side of the street. i chased them, one of them tripped over a curb and left his bike on the ground. so i picked it up while they were watching from across the street, and smashed that ****er around a lamp post. must have bent it 90 degrees

felt really good too.

And I parked WAY out in a dirt lot too. I pray karma exists.

There is no reason for stuff like this other than a pure-unadulterated disregard for anyone but themselves. People friggin' suck, period. Glad the detail guy fixed you up right Sinister Subaru...maybe karma does exist huh? :]

Thumbs up

I guess I should mention that my detail guys were able to get it ALLof the key scratches out of BOTH doors with 'color sanding' (a true miracle if you know how light/thin the clear coat is on our cars) and buffing.

By the time I got to Subiefest, there wasn't a trace. I got lucky this time!
