No, I didn't **** anyone off on my drive down the hill to Albertson's for my bottle of wine and a DVD (OK, so now you know how exciting my life is on a Saturday night!).

No, I didn't double park... No, I didn't flip anyone off. I simply parked... and went into the market.

When I came out, someone had taken a key and did about 6 star patterns (one over the other) on the driver's door and about three ovals on the back door (driver's side).

This 6 days before Subiefest! I have had a personal list of things I wanted to do before I left (then call it quits with a 'winter's hiatus' to mods).

I was sooo close... it was looking so good.

It looks like the key scratches ripped through the clear coat (but, my dealer's detailer ~ who rocks at 'color sanding' is going to come in on his Sunday to see if he can pull it off). If not, I have to try and get a body shop on Monday to paint the two doors before Thursday ~ yeah right... wish me luck!

If you see a key scratcher ~ you have my permission to use a LARGE caliber handgun and put him in a shallow grave your dog can p**s on!

Ask the company if they have parking lot surveillance, let them know the date if so and that you would like to review the tapes, perhaps they can find out who did it or what they are driving by the plates... Our detail guys pulled off a miracle ~ they were able to 'color sand' the scratch out, without burning through the clear coat! NO scratch... all gone!

 

I got egged on saturday too. parked in front on my Grandparent's house in Sac. Damn vandals, my paint is messed up too. The worst part is that i've only had my new suby for 2 weeks
