if its not too bad touch up paint. could try buffer or mess around with it. if it still looks ugly see what the pros can do.

Touch up paint on a long scratch? I'd say if you have to ask if you can try to fix it yourself you should just take it to a professional.

There's a pretty good bodyshop in Berkeley called Panelcraft. I'm sure if you let them look at it, they can fix it for a reasonable price.

if it's really bad, there's not much you can do. if it's a mild scratch, a detail shop can probably use rubbing compound on it. i wouldn't try it myself if i didn't know what i was doing though. goodluck.

If the paint didn't actually come off, you can try rubbing compound... I scratched my c-pillar when I swapped my trunks, and George from Creative Kustoms suggested it. It worked like a charm!

If it's deep, you're out of luck...

1. Buy a new CF hood.
2. Take old hood and cut off a piece with acetlyne cutting torch.
3. Sharpen hood piece into shiv.
4. Find person who keyed your car.
5. ...well you can figure out this step yourself.

i have no experience with keyed marks on a car, I can only suggest body shops... I know I get really PO when I get a small door ding. You must be ready to kill someone.... Sorry to hear what happened...

Only if we can implement a security system where it would release 1000 volt of electricity upon metal contact on body panels.
