WQC-39: Engine Control Module Reprogramming
I know you said change, we don't just stick a gauge there and simply check it, we are required to set it to manufacturer spec, that is the law. If you didn't want it changed, you would've needed to initial the work order that releases us from setting the tire pressure.
I understand you obviously work for subaru since you keep saying "we", so take my posts for what they are and what happened. I "did" tell the service guy NOT to do certain things. So I really don't care if some tech has a problem with it.

yes I do work for subaru and I've mentioned it many times in this post. I just don't appreciate people blaming us techs when we are simply doing what we are told to do, although I will agree that the tech shouldn't have insulted you. If the service advisor didn't make you sign anything then that is his fault, not the techs. The tech was simply doing his job, so you blaming him is wrong. I am not saying every tech out there is good, I am simply trying to break the stereotype of dealer techs are bad or techs in general are bad.
please, go read my post again

so i had my gopro running in my car in the back window, and it recorded the whole thing.
i put a note on my dash that says "please do not wash my car, please do not change my tire pressure, please do not do additional work on my car other than the ECM reflash. thank you"
my video shows one guy pointing out my note to another tech, and that tech says "well too bad for him, it's state mandate, state law that we have to check it"
ffs. we already have to deal with TPMS sensors. the tpms light isn't on which means my tire pressure is fine.
when the service guy got back into my car to drive it out of the shop, you can hear him say something like "jeeze, what is that guys problem", talking about that tech who went on whining about things

your quote: "we are simply doing what we are told to do"
however, the tech was TOLD to NOT perform the check. now, if the tech knew there should be signature and there wasn't one, then yes, you can go ahead and say the tech can be blamed for not going back to the service guy and requesting the signature. now that is simple fact, so you can feel free to place blame if you want to.
I am the customer, and if the customer requests for something to not be touched, then you better go to the customer and tell him the reason that you NEED to do something specific. if you fail to inform the customer, then you failed at your job of providing customer service.

because i specifically said and i quote "then the customer service guy should have done that on the paperwork so i could have signed it."read it below..
then the customer service guy should have done that on the paperwork so i could have signed it. but instead, he just typed it out in the notes section for the tech.

the tech had the bad attitude which was expressed to the service guys over being told not to do something
you really seriously don't need to continue this any further.
i am the customer. if you are a tech person and don't like being told NOT to do something, then tough doo doo.
and if something is required by law, then you need to make sure the customer is properly informed of the matter by either a) talking to customer directly , or b) telling the service guy so he can inform the customer. remember, this is MY vehicle, not yours. so it doesn't matter what kinda tech you are, it's still my vehicle (the customer).
