Got mine done today, basically long story short go back to stock then take it to the dealer to have them reflash. Really big headache but there isn't a way around it.

So, what's the downside of NOT doing this TSB?

If your only stage 1, really it's not a big deal. If you've gone stage 2 i still don't think it's much of a big deal. Once you have bigger injectors, tuned on a different fuel, big turbo it's a PITA. Everyone else just unmarry and cross fingers for the test drive.

re-read it and realized i missed the part about not being able to register.

See how much more pleasant this could be?

Yeah, it was quite pleasant when you took the moment to read something which has your answer

You did the "back to stock" yourself?

You got the letter or did you go on your free will?

I'm still waiting for the letter. I don't want to think about it till I get closer to the registration date.

You have to bring the letter in showing that your car is part of the bulletin in order for them to do it. Says the letter is required right on it.

I haven't received any emails or letter regarding this recall. Reg is due in April but I usually get it next month so I will wait.
