Window Tint Fix it ticket

Got pulled over yesterday for my window tint -_-

How much is the fine if i take the tint off and have an officer sign off on it?

How much is the fine if i just pay the ticket and leave the tint on?

Anyone know of super cheap nice quality places to re-tint my front windows (not including windshield) after i show them its "fixed"

Just trying to find the cheapest way to do this but still keep tint on my windows

Thanks

If you pull it off and get it signed off I think it's still $25 per offense.

If you don't pull it and you just pay the fine it'll say that right on your ticket. Last time I checked I think it was around $180.

I've got to get my redone. My front windows are pealing and I highly doubt that omega will warranty them 10 years later. LOL!

It doesn't say a price on the ticket.

Think it's $200 to just pay the fine and not fix it.

So $200 to just roll with what you have. Or pull it off. Hour of your time. Get it signed off. Another hour of your time. Pay $100 to have it put back on plus another hour of your time.

Kind of a toss up. In my case I'd peal it and have it signed off because my isht is trashed. If it was newer tint I'd probably just pay the fine.

Well its just my front two windows, i have a place in tracy that charges $30 a piece for the fronts. I might just pull it off and pay the $25 then put it back on pay total $85.

Word. That's good. Let me know how good it is as I'll need mine redone before Hammy. One is pealing and I'm swapping my front door on the other side.

Yup, it's just about $200 as I just paid it a few months ago ($194.00 to be exact). I didn't feel like sitting in court all day to try and fight it as I was far too busy with work that day.

I got my ticket with exhaust and ref.... had it all corrected.

Judge dismissed the whole thing... no fees

I used a razor blade, orange clean, and a steamer to get my tint off.

Just take the tint off and leave it off. If you put it back on and the same officer see's you and pulls you over for it he can arrest you for 24004 VC. It happend to my cousin, of course he was a total *** with the officer.

No it's still $25 per offense.

If you wanna take your time I'd remove and reapply. I've done it twice on this car and once on my other car.

I think im gonna remove and re apply.
@faraco I dont think he was arrested for the offense, because you can leave the tint and pay the fine if you wanted too.

you can get arrest for consecutive offenses. but highly unlikely, he did state his cousin was being an asshat so.
