well, according to his feet, that bastard is solbergmills 
diecast ftw... but you know, having played with the old school ones when i was a kid (back when megatron was a gun zomg)... this smokescreen is a reallll hassle to transform. And a puzzle besides. Those were fairly simple to figure out, and all the pieces moved really easily.

My coworker collects Transformers. When I saw that one on her desk a while back, I "borrowed" it and wasted a night (I work evening shifts) transforming it. As stated earlier there are 2 types, JDM and USDM, the Japanese version it metal while the US one is plastic. Also there is a normal WRX model available also though I'll have to check into exactly which Transformer it is.
I agree that they are a PITA to transform, but the pose-ability and attention to detail is unsurpassed (especially by Gen 1 stadards).
I've got two jdm: silver and RAlly boxed and stored and a USDM plastic one which I mess with.
If they make a wagon, I'd be all over it.
