Lucky Bastard

My buddy blew his tranny today and when he took his car to the dealer, they said they would replace it under warranty...no questions asked! What a lucky bastard! He even told them he was beating up on it. His mods are HKS downpipe, Tanabe catback exhaust, STi uppipe and AEM cold air intake.

They will replace that guys but then deny the next two guys.

yeah, more people than i can count have been denied. i think this is the first person ive heard of that has actually gotten something out of the dealer

What dealership did your buddy go to? I'm down in the Springs and want to know what dealership is reasonalbe in case I start having transmission problems.

Let's wait and see what happens when an SoA rep takes a look at it, as generally happens prior to major transmission warranty repairs. If they repair it without a rep looking at it, I find it highly unlikely Subaru will reimburse the dealer for it.
