I have put up a pic of this before, and not much has changed except lots of miles have been put on. This was custom built mostly by a friend, it's a track frame with a Shimano Nexus 8speed rear hub fit by me. Took some minor tweaking, and yes it does add weight but it's fun to climb with ease and haul down hills now (tho I need a front brake now haha)...
I have been putting a lot more miles on my bikes lately and it's been a blast. Last week I rode the MTB all over SF to see friends/get PBR beers, and then put on my new brakes and rode as fast as I could from Mission to Caltrain to catch the last train home - that was a fun ride.

Just got back on my bike for the work commute for the first time this year. Perfect time for this thread to resurface. Not a huge fan of my bike, but it works. Got myself a Raleigh Competition with full Ultegra. Frame is too long for me. Bought it before I knew what to look for with bicycle fitting.

when i got my bike way back when it was either a quadangle or the trick star. i guess a pk is the next best thing i could get now. no way can i build another trick star. would feel like i was cheating on my baby. lol
