salvator, what's the i-drive all about? I remember when GT came out with it but I never really understood it...

i actually have no idea. my dad bought an i-drive 2.0 in 2001 or something, but a year later the frame broke, so they sent him the 1.0 frame.
I'm not sure whats so special about the bike. its cool and it works well lol

I think it's supposed to cancel out some of the ''pump'' loss when riding a full suspension.

the bottom bracket has the rotating thing in it, so when the suspension compresses, your crank axis stays on a level plane. You gotta feel it to understand i guess. I think theyre cool, i wonder why they disappeared?

Here are some crappy pics.

My Salsa La Cruz and a brief experiment with 29er tires.

This is an older pic of my commute setup

I don't have any recent pics of my mountain bike. This is all I could find.

custom aluminum track frame, built by Oscar Camarena

Now has completely different almost everything - got rid of the stupid Hed3 wheel and the stupider deep-v wheel. Now running the following, and I'll try to get pix in the near future:

-Paul Components track hubs - black rear, green front
-32H DT Swiss RR 1.1 rims - black
-Truvativ Omnium cranks - black
-Truvativ Omnium chainring - 49T/black
-Cadence doublestraps - grey
-RaceFace carbon handlebar
-Oury grips - clear
-Thomson seatpost - black
-Thomson stem - black
-Phil Wood cog - 17T/polished
-KMC Rainbow chain

I built the wheels and put it all together. This is a shot of me at my last bike shop gig before I finished school and got a 'real' job. I miss it, but after building 8-10 wheelsets per week, my fingers don't miss it.
