Any updates on all those smog issues?
I'm trying to figure out what to do with my wagon when it comes back to life. I'd like to do some moderate stuff to it. I can register in a non smog county. But I guess I'll need to smog it... then do the fun stuff?
Think it's been down so long I'll have to do it either way.
Anyone brought a car back to life after a few years?

My sedan is stock now because I had to smog it and shops don't want to do smog related mods where they could get fined right now. Can't even get a tune. So it is all DIY or under table to get fun stuff done. My hatch is stg 2+ for now but have to smog it next year.

Ya AFAIK, you still need to pass smog when "entering/registering" the vehicle in a non-smog county. After that, if the reg stays the same, there are no additional smog tests in years to come.

Makes sense, tbh I can't remember if I was on an off year or due for smog when I switched my registration..
Glad to hear VJJ is still going, I'll make my way out in one of the coming weeks.

I will make it out tonight for VJJ if it doesn't rain. The hatch was down last week with a bent rim thanks to a pothole, took a week to get the replacement

Would be fun to do a VJJ/Philz meet to catch up when time permits, subarus or not.
