Sept is 5 years since I bought the Trek.
First 2.5 years (Sept 2017 - March 2020) I put on 41,8XX miles. Driving a minimum of 66 miles round trip to/from work a day. ~16,7XX miles a year
2nd 2.5 years (March 2020- Sept 2022) I put on 12,0XX miles. WFH and averaging going into the office once a month. ~ 4,800 miles a year
Trek is sitting at 53,8XX right now

Excellent. I have to smog my hatch next year. I just need to downgrade to a carb legal tune and swap DP.

I went on a business trip to LA for a conference last week and came back with Covid. yay. Those who say it is like the flu are full of I was eligible for treatment and started taking meds Mon and am doing better, but this thing really wants to hang on.

We have been told to come back to the office 3x a week. Based on my most recent experience, I think that is what you would call an extremely bad idea lol.

My sedan has ~37.5K now because the hatch was down a month waiting for the clutch. Hatch still has 133k and it is going to be getting ready to sell soon.

First time we had covid was Nov 2020, pre vaccines, and it was pretty rough.
Second time we got it, June this year, it was not nearly as bad.

Its a person by person basis. Some literally die, some say it was horrendous, some say it was just a cold, some dont even know they have it

Depends on variant and the person. I had no cough, but felt like a bad head cold and a scratchy throat. Then it immediately turned into coughing up blood.

'sup, fellas! Hope y'all are doing well.

It has indeed been a long time. I'm still in V-town.

My nearly 20-year-old wagon just clocked 200k. I mentioned it yesterday in a group text with our OG SubaBrew shredders. Ray's '04 wagon has 275k (sadly, it's been outta commish for several years).

I ticked 54k on the Trek and Sept was 5 years since buying it. Last 2.5 years (since starting WFH) ive only put on 12,XXX miles, averaging only 4,8XX a year lol. First two years of owning and commuting, I put on 41,8XX averaging 16,7XX a year.

Going into the office 3 days a week now. The hatch has 134K now and the front control arm bushings are toast. That will cost a few bucks.

Before I was zero times in the office for over 2yrs. They want us back now so I either have to give up my cube or go in 3 days.
