After having to drive up (And I mean UP) California Street in SF in traffic 4 days after I got my STi (5 years since I've driven a manual) I adjusted my parking brake.

Why? You have hill assist. Shouldnt need your parking brake...

It started rolling back for some reason. I think there might be a problem with my hill start assist. Light comes on at random times.
The next thing is figuring out why.

Yes, the seat is wood that replaced plastic, that felt like you we're falling into the bowl, plus the slow close was broken. Toto too.

Oh and new spark plugs since they had to come out anyways.

I think it was about time for the coolant and hoses lol.
Coolant looks nasty, did you not ever change it prior? Supposed to do it around 60k, also use good coolant (Subaru blue is good) to preserve head gaskets. Other than that looks good.

Yes did change at dealership once. Green is reccomended on my 06. 08+ is the blue.

That is just the calcification from the hoses being old and the coolant build up. Coolant looked fine.

Now I remember why I hated this car so much... The damn stock turbo decided to destroy itself today.

Not covered under warranty of all things and now it's stuck in my garage again.

Thats terrible luck, especially with the mileage. What caused the failure?
